I love it when recent transplants to Arizona want to show off the amazing natural landscape we have here to their family members back home. When I was a young kid, we moved from Minnesota to Arizona, and I didn’t like the look of the desert for a long time. I was so used to green. That’s all I knew. Since becoming an adult however, I realize more every day just how magical this desert is and all the beauty this state has to offer. But I digress. I had an amazing time with these former Washingtonians as we explored the Salt River area. They even laughed it off when some jerk in the river told them marriage was a trap. That seems pretty Arizona to me too. 🙂
Here are some of my favorite images from their Salt River engagement session.
