When I met up with Mel and Charlie last year, I knew right away we’d get along. With their laid back style, they’re incredibly easy to like. But we also were able to commiserate about the loss of one of Phoenix’s most unique spots. After hearing earlier that day about the closing of our original meeting spot, Desoto Central Market, we had to relocate our meeting to Phoenix Public Market. Which is another favorite of mine, but it was still a bummer. It was such a cool space, perfect for meeting up with people and grabbing tasty bites.
These two share a love for this city that I have too. It will all be on display next month at their Phoenix wedding at the Rio Salado Audubon Center. It’s such a cool, unique wedding venue just south of the heart of Downtown Phoenix. In the meantime, we had a lot of fun with their engagement session exploring the area behind Charlie’s parents house…and I had a lot of fun meeting their dogs. If you can’t bring your pups to your wedding, the engagement session is a great way to get them involved. And you’ll always score extra points with me along the way.
Here are some of the best photos we made together at their Paradise Valley engagement session.
My Equipment:
Shot with: Canon 5D Mark IV, Canon 5D Mk III
Lenses used: Canon 24mm 1.4L, Canon 50mm 1.2L, Canon 135 2.0L
Whether or not you have dogs does not factor in to how much fun we will have or how great the photos will be…but dogs are the best. Then again, so are you. So let me show you how much you and your love rock. Schedule your engagement session today.
