When it comes to sparkler exits, I sometimes recommend couples do it early if they crowd looks like it may be smaller come time for the party to end. Just to maximize the amount of firework awesomeness in the photos. Gillian and Alex preferred to maximize time with their guests and didn’t care if the photo opp wasn’t what it could be. Hearing that was a career highlight for me. They weren’t doing it for the perfect photo. They were doing it all for their friends, for their family, and for their own fun. And we still got kickass sparkler photos.
I believe everyone deserves the wedding of their dreams, but sometimes you meet people who you can’t help but be a little extra happy for when you see them having an amazing time at theirs. Gillian and Alex went through tragedy together that kept their wedding from being truly complete. However, it seemed to me it was as perfect as it could be given the circumstances. They celebrated hard with family and friends all night and their infectious joy and energy made it a treat for everyone.
Here are some awesome photos from their Phoenix destination wedding at the Secret Garden Event Center.
