You know you’re still behind on blogging when you are working on a couple’s wedding blog the same week you show up to photograph their newborn baby. But in a time that’s weird for everyone, it was simultaneously so good to see Emily and James and to meet Miles (and their pup Freddie) and relive all the fun from last summer’s San Francisco wedding at Stern Grove. To top it off, Mel, Emily’s sister, was also there to lend a hand (I shot her awesome Phoenix wedding last spring). It was nice to see familiar faces and equally nice to be able to photograph them. What can I say, I like people and I like making them look good.

Emily and James’ Stern Grove wedding was at the same time intimate and filled with close family and friends. Relaxed and super fun. My part of the night ended covering a s’mores toasting. That seems just right.
