This is the first time I’ve blogged a “best of” for the year. It turns out, it’s incredibly hard. I had an amazing year full of amazing people and creating many images I love…and hopefully they did too! Even on a personal level, it was a big year for me and my wife. We bought a house! (I even kick off the post with a shot of us I took using a tripod and remote) We also had a ton of fun traveling the country and the world with each other and friends.

While there are a lot of engagement sessions and weddings in here, I have included a lot of my family and portrait work as well. I don’t get to blog those a lot so I think this is the perfect way to show some of those sessions off. 

2017 was certainly a tough year in the world in many regards, but I am thankful to this year and everyone who made it awesome for me. I photographed many weddings in Phoenix and the valley area, but my clients also took me to gorgeous places in Sedona and even San Francisco. 2018 has a lot to live up to. Cheers to all of you and I hope your year kicks ass!
