In 2019 I hit the five year mark of doing photography full time. It’s something I’m very proud of. Five years is a long time. Creating a business is hard and sustaining it is even harder. I always knew I could be a good artist, but doubted if I could be a good business person. I showed me! With help, of course. I wouldn’t be here today without unwavering support from my wife. I also wouldn’t be here today without the help of you, whoever is reading this. Whether you’re a client or colleague of mine, a supportive friend or family member, a fan of my work, or simply someone new checking out what I do, I’ve needed you all to get where I’ve gone…and I will need you in the future to keep pushing further. Thank you for your part in this. 🙂
Being that I hit five years last year and 2019 also marks the end of a decade, I thought it would be a good year to do a “Best of All Time” blog post. But then I couldn’t even narrow this one year down to less than you’re about to see and I thought, maybe another time. Ha. I’ve got business things to get back to. 😉
I am primarily a wedding photographer, but I’ve also included some shots from the occasional family and personal portrait sessions I’ve done too. Here are some of the best photos I took in 2019.
My Equipment:
Shot with: Canon 5D Mark IV, Canon EOS-R
Lenses used: Canon 24mm 1.4L, Canon 50mm 1.2L, Canon 135 2.0L
