They say good things come to those who wait. If that’s the case, Jen and Jon are owed a lot of good. They are working on possibly their fourth date and second venue for their wedding. As have many couples, they rescheduled their wedding that was supposed to happen back in spring this year. As fall approached, it seemed they’d need to do it again. My advice to couples in all situations is have the wedding you want. Know yourself and be yourself. When it came to what Jen and Jon wanted, it was all their family and friends on the dance floor laughing and hugging and feeling loved and safe. So, they have made the hard decisions, but the right ones for them and their guests. And I respect the hell out of them for it.
Timing is everything, guys. Your time is coming and I promise it’s going to be awesome.
In the meantime, here are some of my favorite photos from their Desert Botanical Garden Engagement Session. As you can tell by the love and the fun in these photos, their big day is going to kick so much butt.
Shot with: Canon 5D Mark IV
Lenses used: Canon 24mm 1.4L, Canon 50mm 1.2L, Canon 135 2.0L
The time is always right for an engagement session at Phoenix’s Desert Botanical Garden. One of Arizona’s best spots for photography in general, I love how there are always new ways to shoot it. Join me for some fun there?
