For the most part, I wouldn’t want to blog about someone’s wedding and tie that to the current crisis we’re facing. Especially when the event happened well before it. But today I’m missing people a little more than most days. I miss my friends, family, colleagues, and my clients. When I think about why I love wedding photography, I always come back to the fact that it’s really fun to make images for people on what will currently be the biggest day of their lives. Yeah weddings can be stressful and a lot goes into it, but for the most part they are an insane combination of fun and romantic. When we’re there and in the moment, it’s so blissful for the people involved. And I will never get over how great it feels to get reactions from people as they get to relive that.
There is no better wedding to talk about that than Jessielyn and Jared’s Monorchid wedding. When it comes to them, they are the epitome of that fun and that romance. Jessielyn and Jared are simultaneously chill and filled with buzzing energy. That’s a tough thing to pull off naturally, but that’s how it comes to them. And like all of my couples, they are nuts about each other and their family and friends. You can see it in these photos.
So today, I’m going to enjoy reliving some of these moments from their wedding. Lots of fun, silly, and romantic stuff. Just like life still is while we’re at home, but I can’t wait to do with you all again.
