Cowboys evoke thoughts of toughness and grit…and I’d wager Matt, a firefighter, is as tough as they come. Yet I bet he’s just a big softy when it comes to Julie. He’s quick to smile normally, but it’s plastered on his face when he looks at her. These two are one of the most well matched couples I’ve ever met. Not only are they both ridiculously good looking, but they are crafty, hard working, family loving, good hearted, nature thriving, all around cool humans. And I like photographing weddings of cool humans.
On another note, I’d just like to give the bride a big shout out. Julie put most of the wedding together herself, DIY style. But you’d never know it wasn’t professionally planned. This rustic cowboy wedding was done as elegant and tasteful as it gets. Her attention to detail she brings to her wood burning projects carried right over to her wedding details.
