Nicky and Demerae currently live in New York, but have friends and family all over the states. Arizona is the place they met when Nicky was a teacher and Dem was a swim coach at ASU. What a way to show it off to the out of towners. One of the most unique places you could get married in downtown Phoenix is definitely the Icehouse. I had wanted to photograph an Icehouse wedding for years and I’ve been lucky enough to shoot it twice this year already. Luckier still with cool people like these. Not only was this kickass wedding party the first all female one I’ve been priviliged to photograph, we got their epic mural photo, there were glow sticks everywhere, and food trucks. Food is the way into anyone’s heart. Mine for sure.
