I love hearing about how couples meet. Sometimes it’s simple. My wife and I met through a dating app, for example (though even our story has it’s hilarious details as they all do). Sometimes it’s a crazy confluence of circumstances that feels like fate. Paige and Mikhail are definitely much closer to that. They were both living on the Pacific coast…but they met at a bar in Belize…and even more specifically a bar on a tiny island called Caye Caulker in Belize. There, these two people who both loved being silly and doing things like rock climbing, hiking, camping, and all the fun things the outdoors can offer, met in a remote place far from home and shared a drink with a funny name. They shared a laugh about the drink, struck up a conversation, and before you know it, they are both living in San Francisco and engaged. Man I love that kinda stuff.

For their San Francisco engagement session, we stuck to their neighborhood of Bernal Heights and climbed the hill on a windy, chilly day and had a lot of fun. Here are some awesome photos we made to celebrate their engagement.
