Sarah and Jake live in New York and wanted something unique for their elopement. Their fun sense of adventure, and a knack for finding cool places on Google, led them to Meteor Crater and eventually me. We set up a FaceTime call and talked over their wedding plans and, being that I had been there before, I assured them that I thought it would be an awesome spot to get hitched. We even messaged a bit about where to take some photos after, and they found the Little Painted Desert. Having not been there before, I wasn’t sure how it would work out for photos. As evidenced below, it worked out quite a bit more than fine. So, they headed out west without even telling most friends or family where they were going to get married. The awesome tour guide from Meteor Crater and I even served as their witnesses. It was an epic day.
Here are some of the best photos from their Meteor Crater wedding.

I’m a Phoenix based wedding photographer who wants to photograph your wedding someplace magical like this…or even your own backyard. It’s all gravy to me. I just love making people awesome art from their most awesome day.
