Hooray for attempting new things! As I work through my backlog of blogs to post, I have a few coming up where I got to explore some new territory. This is the first of those. Typically, most photographers, myself often included, pick a pretty outdoor location that speaks to our clients and we let the sun be our easy source of light. When Stephanie suggested her and Todd’s pre-wedding session take place at a library, I was thrilled to take on the challenge. Finding decent light indoors is not the easiest thing. But these two made it very easy on me.
Stephanie and Todd were game to try anything, had some ideas of their own, and had no problems showing their love off in a more public place than would be usual. The two of them are so deeply loving of each other. Easily one of the most tender and affectionate couples I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. They both previously had kids and are blending 10 children into their beautiful new family! I was so happy to give them some time for just the two of them to celebrate their love and hope it was a great memory to help kick off their wedding.
The following are some of my favorite images we made during their library engagement session. Yeah, I still cheated and took a few outside. Sue me. ;P
